Why Join?
The Riverwood Parent Teacher Student Association (PTSA) is an inclusive organization of enthusiastic parents, teachers, and staff who support our school through volunteering, community-building, and fundraising. Please get in touch with any member of the board for more information on how to become more involved.
The PTSA remains committed to supporting Riverwood, including implementing alternatives to traditional support when possible.
Community
There is no better way to know what is happening or to have an impact at Riverwood than to be a part of PTSA.
Network
PTSA events are a great way to connect with other parents and teachers, build rapport, and talk through the issues that matter to you. They offer a space to share ideas, concerns, and experiences in a supportive community.
Growth
By getting involved at Riverwood, you will be part of the solution and help make positive changes. Funds raised by the PTSA touch all aspects of the school - Academics, Arts, and Facilities.
Support
We aim to impact each student and staff member in student enrichment, faculty support, and student assistance through mini-grant allocation, direct capital support, and much more.
PTSA Members Create Community
PTSA membership donations raise over $45,000 annually in funding for events, programs, and materials to enhance the Riverwood faculty, parent, and student experience. The PTSA has regular meetings and conversations with Riverwood administrative leadership so that we align our volunteer and fundraising efforts best to serve the priorities for our students and staff.
